An Orynary Day
Hey Woman ,wake up and walk me NOW! So the my 9 month old Golden Retriever Pup Bliss commands all beginnings& most endings, in between the sun ,clouds ,cell phone ,city noise etc enter an almost peaceful start to Thanksgiving week.Why do I offer to assist my friends.
I make no money,spend hours of time,resources as well as traffic to plan,shop,prep & delever a Cornucopia of Autumnal goodies Yes paid work is different,But when your a Chef either can or would you make something ,rather small? Alas ,Small has never been one of my qualities in regards to food. So after the best the Organic Farmers Market had,the Hollywood market ,WFM& some items from Resturant supply Surfas,I go to Guss meat and Get THE WILLIE. (bird that is)
So now brineing,dry rubbing,make seitan (for Vegans)& Vegan Pumpkin&Pecan,Already cooked.
Made Cranberry chutney,Pie dough,now am about to shell Almonds& Walnuts for mock mince pie.
Funny In Hawaii,as a teen,I'd be doing this for Led Zeppelin & Steve Miller,The Dead et al.
Turkey was a year round fav,My pets are in yard hanging,I'm in front in industrial Kitchen of Building.The sheer volume is not as much daunting as I'm still morning Lucian's passing,Last year a Vegan Pumpkin landed on his doorstep,I was emailed back it was the most delicious pie ever . Alas he's now almost 4 months gone,I find comfort in the fact I fed Lucian his last food on earth. I will now with Grace ,Quality& Love , prep & give to my friends,WHY you ask,Answer Because I can & I do it with LOVE!
